Langhe Rosato

Our Rosé is produced from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from several vineyards. The grapes are harvested from the coolest slopes at the ideal stage of ripeness, allowing the wine to express the elegance, delicacy and distinctive aromas that characterize Nebbiolo at its finest.

It pairs beautifully with fish-based starters, risottos and white meats, or can simply be enjoyed as a refreshing aperitif.

Alcohol content: 12.5%–13%
Vineyard exposure: North-east and west
Soil type: Clay
Training system: Low Guyot
Average vine age: 15–20 years – Castiglione Falletto / Diano d’Alba
Planting density: 4,000 vines per hectare
Harvest: September 10th–15th, when the grapes reach the ideal level of ripeness to preserve their aromas, while remaining less mature in terms of tannins, which are not required for this wine.
Maximum yield: 80 quintals per hectare

Vinification:
Although this wine is produced from red grapes, it is vinified using the same method as a white wine. The destemmed grapes are gently pressed to separate the skins from the juice. Soft pressing is used to avoid extracting the green tannins.

The must ferments in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 13 and 14°C, allowing the sugars to ferment slowly while preserving and capturing all the delicate aromas and fragrances of the Nebbiolo grape.

Production: 3,000–4,000 bottles
Serving temperature: 8–10°C

Tasting Notes:
Colour: Delicate pale pink.

Elegance and finesse are the defining qualities of this wine. Fresh and savoury on the palate, with a pleasant floral bouquet featuring delicate notes of rose.
