Langhe Rosso SaLù
SaLù is our new Langhe Rosso, produced from red grape varieties grown in the Langhe: Pinot Noir, Dolcetto and Barbera.
This wine was created to celebrate the entry of Sara and Luca into the family winery. As the fourth generation, they will carry forward the legacy of the family winery, founded in 1950 by their great-grandfather, Giovanni.
Alcohol content: 12.5%–13%
Exposure: South-west
Soil type: Clay and mixed sandy soil
Training system: Low Guyot
Average vine age: 10–20 years
Planting density: 4,000 vines per hectare
Harvest: The different grape varieties are harvested according to their individual ripening periods throughout September.

Vinification:
The different grape varieties have different ripening periods and are therefore vinified separately in stainless-steel tanks. They are blended only after ageing in barriques, which lasts between 6 and 12 months.
Before ageing, the wine undergoes repeated racking to maintain its cleanliness and purity.
No clarification or filtration is carried out prior to bottling.
Production: 4,000 bottles
Serving temperature: 16–18°C
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Ruby red with violet reflections.
Aroma: As a blend whose composition may vary from year to year, the sole aim of SaLù is to rediscover and express aromatic and gustatory pleasure. Our guiding principle is to enhance freshness while developing a pleasant degree of complexity.
Ageing in wooden vessels harmonises and completes the bouquet.
Palate: Soft and smooth, making it an excellent match for cured meats, first courses, white and red meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
SaLù offers a pleasurable introduction to the world of wine for younger palates and those discovering wine for the first time, while also satisfying more experienced and discerning wine lovers.
