Langhe Arneis

This wine is produced from Arneis grapes sourced from two vineyards: one in San Pietro di Govone and the other in Diano d’Alba, covering a total area of approximately 2 hectares.

The grapes are carefully selected and harvested separately. During fermentation, the wines are blended together. The different origins of the grapes give the wine greater complexity, depth and breadth.

It pairs well with snacks and savoury appetizers. As an aperitif, it is an excellent accompaniment to starters in general, particularly fish-based dishes.

Alcohol content: 12.5%–13.5%
Vineyard exposure: North-east and east
Soil type: Sandy soil in Govone; mixed clay soil in Diano d’Alba

Planting density: 4,000 vines per hectare
Harvest: Late August – first week of September
Maximum yield: Approximately 100 quintals per hectare

Vinification:
The grapes are destemmed and the berries are transferred to the press, where the skins are separated from the juice. The juice is then transferred to temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, where temperatures are maintained at around 13°C, allowing the sugars to ferment very slowly.

The fine lees produced during fermentation are kept in suspension with the specific purpose of softening the palate and perfectly integrating the wine’s acidity.

The wine undergoes clarification with bentonite to achieve perfect clarity and cleanliness. No malolactic fermentation is carried out.

Production: 8,000–10,000 bottles
Serving temperature: 8–10°C

Tasting Notes:
Colour: Pale straw yellow.

Aroma: Delicate fruity aromas of peach and pear evolve into floral notes, with hints of anise and passion fruit.

Palate: Fresh and savoury, with a pleasant contrast between acidity and saline minerality.
